PEACH AND STRAWBERRY SOUP IN CHINON WINE

INGREDIENTS : For 4 peoples

1 bottle of red Chinon wine
1 clove
10 grains of black pepper
1 cinnamon stick
200 g (7 oz) sugar
6 white peaches
400 g (14 oz) strawberries
8 mint leaves

For the wine into a saucepan and add the sugar, cinnamon, pepper and clove. Bring to the boil then remove from the heat. Cover and leave to cool, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
Peel the peaches, cut them in quarters, wash and hull the strawberries. Cut the biggest ones in two.
Add the peaches and strawberries to the wine. Mix carefully and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Serve chilled with a few mint leaves for decoration.
